Richard J. Randolph III, MD  (U.S.A.)

I am a Family Physician and am retired from the US Army.  I am currently the Chief Medical Officer for Heart to Heart International (HHI). This is a non profit organization which responds to disease outbreaks and disasters in the developing world providing medical care and supplies.  HHI also works to improve health care in multiple developing world countries.

I have led a transitional GSE/VTT to Uganda and Kenya in 2013 and led a VTT to Uganda in 2016.  I have written and executed one major grant and one Global Grant for work in Haiti and Uganda.  I am on the Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisers in Maternal and Child Health and in Disease Prevention and Treatment.  I have been an International Service Chair in my club and am President of the Ambassadors Rotary Club (Western Kansas City).  I am the District 5710 coordinator for the 2017-2018 RI tree planting program.  I have been awarded the Rotary Service Above Self Award and the Zonal Rotary Alumni Global Service Award.  I was on a World Health Organization Technical Working Group developing standards for Woman's and Child Health in Sudden Onset Disasters inside the Emergency Medical Team Initiative.
