Richard J. Randolph III, MD (U.S.A.)

Richard Randolph is a family physician based in Lenexa, Kansas (USA). He is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point and retired from the US Army as a Colonel. He is currently the Senior Chief Medical Officer of Heart to Heart International, based in Lenexa, KS, with responsibility for development of medical, disaster, public health programs in the developing world and in the United States. For three decades, he has provided primary care, disaster response, disease response and public health within the US and globally. He holds a graduate certificate in Public Health in the Developing World. He is a Rotary Major Donor and Bequest Society member. He has received the Rotary Service Above Self award and the zonal Rotary Alumni Global Service Award. He is on the Rotary Foundation Cadre of Technical Advisers in Maternal/Child Health and Disease Treatment and Prevention. He is a member of the World Health Organization Technical Working Group on maternal and child health in disasters.

Richard has been active in supporting the environment for many years, speaking at symposia including the Rotary Peace conference in 2020. He has a particular interest in the health and social justice effects of pollution and climate change. He has been a member of ESRAG for 4 years and has served as the Projects Chair and as the Chair Elect of ESRAG.
