Maximizing Rotary’s Impact on Climate: Insights for Action
By Carl W. Treleaven The problem of climate change is very real, and Rotarians around the world are stepping up to address it. But how effective are we? What would need to happen for Rotarians to have a dramatically greater impact, and how could we make it easier for them to contribute? What are the most effective actions we can take? These questions will be explored at a summit in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, immediately before the Rotary International Convention in June. Co-hosted by ESRAG (the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group) and RAGCED (the Rotary Action Group for Community Economic Development), the summit is an opportunity for anyone interested in the environment and economic development to engage in meaningful discussions.
