Food Too Good to Waste Challenge

Location/Club:  Global

Description

Rotarians are invited to organize and take part into the Food Too Good To Waste Challenge offered by the US Environmental Protection Agency (Food: Too Good to Waste Implementation Guide and Toolkit).

This challenge helps people become aware of how food is wasted and what to do about it. It is easily implemented at home over the course of 4 to 6 weeks. Gather in teams and collaborate to find ideas on what you can do to prevent food waste. From sorting your fridge, storing food properly, eating leftover, donating, and composting, much can be done. On average, participants can easily cut their food waste by half!

Take Action

The next step is to implement food recovery at your Rotary meeting or next fundraising event! For support and more information, please contact us!
