Join Our Team: Part-Time Eco-Action Club Coordinator Assistant for the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Part-Time Eco-Action Club Coordinator Assistant for the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG). This contractor position is for a six-month period starting in January and pays $250 per month. 

About Us: ESRAG is part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, and leaders, volunteering our skills and resources to solve global and community needs. With over 4,000 friends and members around the globe, ESRAG provides inspiration, information, and resources to help Rotarians take effective environmental action, especially to mitigate and adapt to the humanitarian crisis of climate change. 

Position Overview: As a part-time Eco-Action Club Coordinator Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping us catch up with a back-log of people who have applied to our organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Membership Processing: Manually entering new members who cannot use the online platform into the iMember database. Ensuring timely updates for accuracy and completeness. 
  • Communication and Inquiries: Responding to membership-related inquiries promptly and professionally. Issuing Eco Action Club certificates to new and existing members.  
  • Support and Outreach: Encouraging clubs with multiple members to formalize their status as Eco Action Clubs. Sending annual membership renewal reminders to Eco Action Club Chairs in May and June 2025. 
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Maintaining regular progress updates to ensure alignment with goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Passion for environmental issues and a desire to make a difference.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability, particularly demonstrated through experience with CRMs and databases
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to work in UTC+5:30 time zone
