TAKE ACTION to create a better world for future generations

ESRAG is a team of Rotarians who enthusiastically believe that individual actions can truly make a difference. So what can YOU do to take meaningful action?

Volunteeer for an available role at ESRAG. Get involved and help us build the ESRAG network of changemakers. Whatever your skills or passions we have roles where you can get involved. You can help us grow the network and create a platform that supports the efforts of Districts and Clubs in our region to grow and implement meaningful projects and club activities that support Environmental Sustainability. Become an ES champion in your District or Club. Rotary has over 535 Districts and 35,000 Clubs. Our aim is at ESRAG is to help establish Environmental Sustainability Committees within each of our regions. We’ll help support you and your Club to take action. Perhaps you’ve already stepped up to the plate as an ES representative in your club to ‘futureproof’ your club.
Take Individual actions that reduce your Ecological Footprint. While you can help create systemic change, there are also countless opportunities to be taking small personal actions that inspire your friends and family to do the same. Volunteer as a Club

Help futureproof your Club and grow your membership.

ESRAG is here to help support Clubs like yours to establish Environmental Sustainability programs and projects that can be used to attract new changemakers to your club. Our priority is Environmental Sustainability but we understand that for Rotary to deliver on its potential in this area, we also need Membership Sustainability!

With the recent announcement, Rotary Leadership has identified ‘Protecting the Environment’ as a critical aspect of its plans to build a stronger Rotary of the future. The COVID pandemic has encouraged us to adopt Zoom and other video conferencing tools that make it easier to collaborate beyond our organization and share ideas and projects. So what can YOUR CLUB do to take meaningful action?

Establish an ES Committee for your Club and District. We will work to support those Environmental Sustainability Representatives so that it’s easy to adopt fun and meaningful projects and activities that make a difference to the world around us. Our guidelines:

Become an ‘EnviroClub’ via District programs. We are working with Districts to establish ‘EnviroClub Awards’. In this program, clubs can take actions that enable them to qualify as ‘EnviroClubs’ and promote this on their website.

Implement Projects, Ideas, and Activities. Whether it’s encouraging your club members to participate in programs like the Lunch out of Landfills initiative to plant pollinator-friendly plants this Spring or participate in Plastic Pickup sessions, we will be working to make it easy for your Club to take action, that’s both fun and makes a difference to Environmental Sustainability.

Partner with ESRAG to maximise your Social Impact

One of our key strategies is to establish collaborative partnerships with local Governments, NGO’s and businesses to maximise positive social and enviromental outcomes. Membership at ESRAG is open to people outside of Rotary. So perhaps you or one of your team may want to get involved. So what can YOUR ORGANIZATION do to partner with us?

Support your staff to Volunteer with us. Corporate Volunteerism is an excellent way to engage your staff. As one of the most trusted brands in the Non-Profit sector, Rotary would be a great way to help your staff feel even more engaged by experiencing the benefits of volunteerism.
