The Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG) is honored to announce that it has been selected as an official nominator for the prestigious Earthshot Prize for the second consecutive year. This recognition places ESRAG among a select group of organizations worldwide trusted to identify and elevate the most innovative and impactful environmental solutions on the planet.
Founded by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in 2020, the Earthshot Prize is one of the most ambitious global environmental awards in history. It aims to discover, spotlight, and scale bold solutions to the world’s greatest climate and environmental challenges. Each year, five winners across five Earthshot categories receive £1 million each to advance their work:
- Protect and Restore Nature
- Clean Our Air
- Revive Our Oceans
- Build a Waste-Free World
- Fix Our Climate
As an official nominator, ESRAG has the privilege and responsibility to recommend projects and initiatives that embody scalable, impactful, and proven solutions within these categories. Our role is to seek out changemakers from within and beyond the Rotary network who are implementing exceptional environmental programs that deserve global recognition and support.
