If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Marketing Program Director for the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG).

With over 4,000 friends and members around the globe, ESRAG provides inspiration, information, and resources to help Rotarians take effective environmental action, especially to mitigate and adapt to the humanitarian crisis of climate change. 

Job Description: .The Marketing Program Director will manage the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with ESRAG’s strategic goals and objectives and promote ESRAG’s key programs and initiatives. 

  • Marketing. Work with ESRAG Task Forces, Communications, and Projects Divisions to create unified messaging that inspires environmental involvement and grows membership.  Support and attend ESRAG’s biggest events: the Rotary International Convention and the Annual General Membership meeting.
  • Project Management. Manage all content production including the website, newsletter, blog, social media, and promoting the top 3 initiatives each year to bring in a cohesive message across all channels. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Develop and oversee the marketing plan, with milestones, to successfully support ESRAG’s top three initiatives. Collaborate and lead volunteers and contractors to ensure goals and milestones are met.
  • Fundraising. Develop a fundraising strategy. Raise a minimum of funds to support this position for 1-3 years.

Qualifications: 

  • ESRAG and Rotary experience – highly desirable
  • Demonstrate knowledge of website and blog publication, SEO, and performance analysis. 
  • Experience recruiting, training, and providing ongoing guidance to a diverse group of volunteers.
  • Demonstrated success in raising funds through donations and/or grant applications.
