In May 2013, Rotarian Karen Kendrick-Hands pondered the climate future for her then-infant granddaughter while listening to a radio program “Hot in My Backyard.” She realized that with our global network of humanitarian leaders, Rotary International was well-positioned to make a difference. Thus began the journey to establish ESRAG, the Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group.
