If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Marketing Team Coordinator at the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG). Although this is a volunteer position, it is a good opportunity to build your CV.
About Us: ESRAG is part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, and leaders, volunteering our skills and resources to solve global and community needs. With over 4,000 friends and members around the globe, ESRAG provides inspiration, information, and resources to help Rotarians take effective environmental action, especially to mitigate and adapt to the humanitarian crisis of climate change and biodiversity loss.
Position Overview: As a Marketing Team Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in helping us to market sustainable, environmental projects and practices. You will be responsible for scheduling and participating in our weekly meetings and maintaining the team’s agendas and notes. If interested, you could help our Marketing Director to track marketing performance, liaison with our other departments, or use your other skills to help our team. What are your talents and interests?
Responsibilities:
- Send a meeting reminder to the team with a Zoom link and link to the agenda
- Update our notes after each meeting and add the agenda for the next meeting. You can also use the meeting recording for those times when you cannot make the meeting.
- Attend our weekly meetings which are 1.5 to 2 hours. We can work with your schedule and understand that sometimes you will need to miss meetings and use the meeting recording.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Passion for working with people to obtain environmental goals
- Proficient in English
- Comfortable with using the Google platform, Microsoft platform, and Zoom. Comfortable learning new applications and CRMs.
- Desire to work with diverse, international groups
- Experience working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
