Position Overview
As a Part-Time Project Database Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting and promoting sustainable environmental projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting data from various sources on environmental projects.
- Selecting and organizing relevant data to create impact reports.
- Assisting in project promotion to encourage replication of successful initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Gather data from the Rotary Service Projects Center, Rotary global grants database, ESRAG Projects Division reporting system, ESRAG Activity Tracker, and ESRAG regional chapter reporting
- Choose projects that meet reporting requirements to include in project impact reports for ESRAG’s Board of Directors, website, and social media
- Attend Project Division and Grant team meetings
- Other tasks as mutually agreed upon between the Projects Database Assistant and Projects Division Chair.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English and English copywriting
- Ability to develop text and graphics using the Microsoft platform, Google suite, Adobe, Creative Suite, and Canva. Adherence to organizational guidelines and branding standards
- Experience with database management, managing multiple projects simultaneously, positive work ethic, and positive communications with diverse interest groups,
- Basic scientific understanding of systems affected by the triple climate, biodiversity, and pollution crisis.
- ESRAG or Rotary/Rotaract experience, preferred but not essential
