Franz M. Müller (Italy)
Franz Müller is a Chemical Engineer from Polytechnic University Milan, Italy, entrepreneur, and for more than 30 years CEO of an innovative small business producing road furniture to make roads safe for users, with connections in many countries in the world, eventually acquired by a listed US company. He has been a member of committees and boards of different companies internationally, as well as technical standardization and research bodies.
In 36 years, Franz served in several Rotarian positions, up to District Governor in 2018-2019, and now as Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator (Zone14), as well as Foundation Cadre (Environment), and is a Major Donor (2nd level) of TRF. Last year he co-founded Rotary Eco Club Milano, a cause-related club for SDGs, and joined ESRAG two years ago after having promoted in Italian Districts the school project against Food Waste and having organized the launch of the international project “Plastic Free Waters” of the International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarians. Franz is co-founder and co-leader of ESRAG’s “Plastic Solutions” Team, to address the second greatest world problem after global warming and, within the Europe Regional chapter, he contributed to organizing the Italian country delegation.
