ESRAG INITIATIVE

Plant-Rich Challenge

Improve your well-being while also being part of a group of people around the world taking meaningful action to improve personal and planetary health.

WHAT IS IT?

The Plant-Rich Challenge

Participants in the Challenge join a growing movement of Rotarians and others around the world who are interested in taking personal and collective action to improve their health, protect the environment, and promote animal welfare, simply by adding more plant-based foods into their diets. Incorporating more vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices, while reducing animal foods such as meat, dairy, eggs, and fish/seafood is simple, immediate, affordable, and impactful. Project Drawdown cites plant-rich diets as the second most impactful action we can take, after food waste reduction, to reverse climate change.
