15 Day Plant-Rich Diet Challenge

Leading up to the start of the Challenge we screened a documentary, and a presentation by the Plant-Rich Diet Task Force.

Because our club wanted to improve our health and address climate change, we hosted an ESRAG 15 Day Plant-Rich Diet Challenge for our club, community, and Rotary district. Leading up to the start of the Challenge we screened a documentary, and a presentation by the Plant-Rich Diet Task Force.

We hosted an ESRAG 15 Day Plant-Rich Diet Challenge for our club, community, and Rotary district. Leading up to the start of the Challenge we screened a documentary, and a presentation by the Plant-Rich Diet Task Force.

One month prior to launching the PRD Challenge, our club hosted a free screening of Eating Our Way to Extinctionas part of our local museum’s environmental film series. (The annual series is sponsored by six local Rotary clubs.)

In October our official kickoff event featured a video presentation from the ESRAG Plant-Rich Diet Task Force, a follow-up discussion with a panel of local experts in health and environmental sustainability, a plant-based tasting bar, displays and information tables, food labeling guides and prize drawings for plant-based culinary items. We created a local resource guide for plant-based foods, and a DIY guide for the PRD Task Force:
