As we step into 2025 with renewed energy and determination, we’re excited to share ESRAG’s 2023-2024 Impact Report, celebrating the incredible achievements made during the Rotary year July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024.
This report highlights the remarkable progress our members, volunteers, and supporters have achieved together. From addressing climate change to promoting biodiversity, we’re proud of the measurable impact ESRAG has had worldwide.
Highlights from the Year
Expanding Membership:
Our network grew to over 1,713 members across 81 countries, reflecting a 12% increase from the previous year. This growth strengthens our capacity to inspire action and drive change globally.
Climate Action Roadmap:
We launched the Climate Action Roadmap, a strategic guide aligned with Rotary International’s goals, equipping clubs with actionable steps to address the climate crisis.
Weekly Project Seminars:
With the help of our new Events Coordinator, we hosted 48 seminars, reaching over 5,000 participants from around the world. The seminar mailing list doubled, connecting even more people to crucial environmental education.
Million Solar Panels Challenge:
Our ambitious clean energy initiative supported the installation of 15,800 solar panels, reducing carbon emissions equivalent to planting 158,000 trees.
Operation Pollination and Earthshot Prize Nomination:
Operation Pollination, our global biodiversity initiative, was nominated for the prestigious Earthshot Prize, recognizing its innovative approach to protecting pollinator species.
Financial Stewardship:
We transitioned to a green bank, aligning our financial practices with our environmental values. This year, we achieved a 22% increase in income, ensuring even greater support for impactful programs.
