We at ESRAG are deeply saddened by the resignation of Mário César Martins de Camargo as President-Elect of Rotary International. His unwavering dedication to Rotary’s mission and values, and his personal commitment to environmental stewardship, have left a lasting impact on our global family. Mário César has been an inspiring advocate for Rotary’s seventh area of focus—the environment—and a genuine champion for the work of ESRAG. His belief in ethical leadership, service above self, and the power of principled action has guided and uplifted countless Rotarians worldwide. We honor his decades of exemplary service and thank him for the encouragement he extended to all who work for a more sustainable and just world. Though his resignation marks the end of a formal role, his legacy of integrity, vision, and courage continues to guide us.
